Halo Infinite Will Be Running On PC At E3

E3 is only days away now but the leaks keep on rolling in.

Now everyone knows that Halo Infinite will be E3. But what we didn’t know is that the next installment in the Halo franchise will be running on a PC during Microsoft’s conference.

This news comes to us from the very reliable insider Brad Sams over at thurrott.com. Follow the link to check out Brads article.

Now the reason for this is very simple. Microsoft doesn’t want to showcase their biggest next gen IP on outdated Xbox One hardware and will instead have Halo Infinite up and running on a PC with comparable specs to the Xbox Anaconda I’d imagine, using an Xbox One controller.

Given that the next generation of Xbox has still officially to be revealed, this might be a smart move by Microsoft.

I don’t think we are going to get any hard specs on either Anaconda or Lockhart at E3 but giving fans an idea of what the next Halo will look like running on 343’s brand new Slipspace engine might be enough for it to steal the show.

Of course, this will piss some people off, some will want to see it running on Anaconda but what we have to appreciate here is that Anaconda and Lockhart are still over a year away. The final specs and have yet to be decided on and Halo Infinite itself is still far from finished.

Some folks think it’ll be a launch title for the next gen Xbox but I honestly think it won’t release till 2021. 343 need to take their time and get this right.

What do you think folks, will you be disappointed if Infinite is running on PC only at E3 or will be happy just to see some actual gameplay regardless of the platform. Please feel free to leave any thoughts you have in the comments below.
