Microsoft To Show Off New Bundles and Accessories At Gamescom
Earlier today Microsoft announced, via majornelson, that it will at Gamescom in Germany next month. Gamescom is due to kick off on August 21st and Microsoft have promised to show off all-new Xbox bundles and accessories via a special episode of Inside Xbox on the first day of the show.
This year at gamescom, we will be hosting a special episode of Inside Xbox, broadcast live from our Xbox booth in the Koelnmesse. Tune in on Tuesday, August 21, at 4:30 p.m. CEST (7:30 a.m. PDT) for lots of news, new Xbox One bundles and accessories, and features on upcoming titles that we can’t wait to tell you more about and perhaps even a few surprises!
I’d imagine the “new accessories” might include the rumoured Elite 2 controller. Xbox FanFest will also make a return, it will take place on the Thursday evening on the banks of the River Rhein.
Of course, there will also be games to be played at Gamescom, 25 of them in fact. European gamers will get to try Forza Horizon 4, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps for the first time at the show. State Of Decay’s Daybreak Pack will also be playable before it gets its official release in September. There is a brand new game mode for PUBG too, that will be revealed during the event.
Hopefully Gears 5 is there along with Crackdown 3, but I wouldn’t hold my breath regarding the latter. Apart from the odd trailer, Crackdown 3 is still suffering from stage fright. Maybe Microsoft will surprise everyone and actually show off some real game-play. We’ll have to wait and see.
