Trials Rising Closed Beta Announced
E3 was pretty good this year in my opinion. 343 released footage from the upcoming Halo Infinite. Phil Spencer announced that Microsoft had purchased four first party developers, as well as setting up The Initiative, a brand new development team, which, along with the other four developers will give Microsoft a massive boost when it comes to combatting Sony on the exclusives front going forward.
While all these announcements were welcome, the biggest thrill I got from E3 came from Ubisoft, when they announced the latest game in their Trials series, Trials Rising. I bloody love these games.
Trials Rising will be released on February 12th next year for Xbox, PS4, PC and the Nintendo Switch. But before the game gets its full release, Ubisoft RedLynx will be holding a closed Beta on all platforms except the Switch. Sorry Switch owners. The Beta will run from September 13th to the 16th.
It’s a limited Beta, so follow the link provided to register as fast as you can because not everyone will be getting an invite.
Rising is set to become the biggest Trials game yet. Over 100 tracks have been promised, a new Tandem Bike mode and a new Stadium Finals Event, where eight players race off in an elimination style tournament, with the winner been the last rider left.
Trials Rising is up for pre-order now and there are two versions off the game you can buy, a Gold Edition and a standard edition. The Gold Edition includes two DLC content packages that will be released further down the road after launch.
Pre-ordering Rising also gets you a couple of extra outfits for your rider. The Jungle Rider Pack, basically a gorilla suit and The Cowboy Pack, which is, you guessed it, a cowboy costume.
I’m super excited for Trials Rising, I can’t stress enough how much I love this series, this will be a nailed on purchase for me come February of next year, how about you guys, anybody else love these games. Please feel free to leave any Trials thoughts you have in the comments below.
