Beginning September 15, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can play more than 100 games from the cloud on their Android phone or tablet. Cloud gaming will launch in beta for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in 22 markets to ensure stability as we scale the feature to millions of gamers.
Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until September 15 to get a full list of the 100 plus games coming to the service. However, we do have a list of the 22 countries, which on launch day, GPU members can experience Project xCloud for themselves. So, if your country is listed below, you’re in luck.
Cloud gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be available on Android devices in 22 markets at launch, including Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Excited
Although I haven’t yet tried xCloud, Stadia or any streaming platform for playing games. I’m very excited to give xCloud a blast next month. I have a pretty good internet connection with no caps. I’m already a GPU subscriber, so I’ll be getting it at no added cost. Why not try it out, at least at home anyway.
Of course, the service is not perfect and has been criticised by some, mainly due to latency issues. But for the most part, people seem to be very impressed by xCloud. And although xCloud is still only available in Beta, it already appears to be a more stable platform than Google Stadia.
But what do you think? Are you a GPU member already? Will you be giving xCloud a blast come September 15? Please feel free to leave any thoughts you have in the comments below.
