Release Date And New Faction Confirmed In Warzone Season 5 Trailer

The release date for Warzone Season 5 has been confirmed in a new Trailer. We also have confirmation that a new Faction will be coming to Verdansk.

Season 5

Warzone Season 5 is set to kick off on Wednesday August 5. So if you had plans, best to make your excuses now. The news comes to us thanks to a new action packed trailer just released by Activision. You can check out the trailer below.

In the trailer we also have confirmation that a new Faction will be joining the battle in Verdansk. Shadow Company, the group led by General Shepherd from Modern Warfare 2, will now be joining the fight. We will be able to choose from three new Shadow Company Operators, Rozlin “Roze” Helms, Velikan and Marcus “Lerch” Ortega.

Activision have previously teased that there may be a few changes to the map when Season 5 drops. Recently they sent out short teasers to select content creators. These teasers hinted at the Stadium getting blown up and also trains been added to Verdansk. Whether any of this turns out to be true we’ll just have to wait and see.

Changes

Personally, I’d love to see some changes to the map in season 5. The Stadium been blown up or even opened up would be nice. The addition of trains would certainly shake things up in Verdansk also.

Of course, Season 5 will also add another Battle Pass for those that are interested. We should also see the addition of a few new weapons and skins. With a bit of luck, and this is just my opinion, I really bloody hope they remove the sniper rifles from the Gulag. Bring back the pistols please.
