Mortal Kombat 11 Adds RoboCop In The Upcoming Aftermath Expansion
RoboCop comes to Mortal Kombat 11 in the upcoming Aftermath expansion pack. This news has just been officially announced by NetherRealm Studios via their Twitter account earlier today. MK11: Aftermath will be available on May 26 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Aftermath
The Aftermath Expansion will bring with it a host of new content to Mortal Kombat 11. Along with RoboCop, who will be voiced by Peter Weller from the RoboCop films from the 80’s, Fujin, the god of wind and Sheeva will also be making a comeback.
New stages will also be added to the roster, including Dead Pool from MK2 and Soul Chamber from MK3. Long running fans of the series will also be delighted to hear that Stage Fatalities will also be making a come back. New “Friendships” finishers have been added too along with new story content.
Three new character skin packs will also be added, although at this moment in time we have no further information on what they might be.
Unfortunately, Mortal Kombat: Aftermath will only be released in digital form on May 26. Although a physical version will release later in the summer. The expansion will cost $39.99, but for newcomers to the series, they can pick up the MK11: Aftermath Kollection.
The MK11: Aftermath Kollection includes the base game, plus the Kombat Kollection, along with all the content from the Aftermath expansion for $59.99. Remember, RoboCop is not the only special character to grace the MK series. The Kombat Kollection also contains The Joker, Terminator and Spawn.
The Aftermath expansion certainly adds a great deal of content to the MK11 experience, but what do you think? Will you be picking it up on May 26? Or if you’re a newcomer to the MK series will you be splashing out on the Aftermath Kollection? Please feel free to let me know what you think in the comments below.
