Xbox One Getting Universal Windows 10 Apps

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella at a .NET conference in Madrid has confirmed that Windows 10 Universal apps will be making there way to Xbox One.  Nadella did not go into to much detail regarding the announcement but it is believed that there will be only a small amount of apps to begin with.

This news might not come as a surprise to many as Windows 10 has now been installed as the new operating system for the Xbox One and Microsoft’s aim seems to be to have Windows 10 as a one stop shop no matter what device you use it on whether your on a smart phone, tablet, PC and now console.

Now even though there is very little to go on here as to what will make to the Xbox One, the confirmation itself is good news and it leaves us hoping that they continue to bring more Windows 10 goodies like Cortana, Office and mouse and keyboard support to the platform.

You gotta hand it to Microsoft, after the initial balls they made of announcing the Xbox One they seemed to have really knuckled down and listened to the fans and have started jamming as much into their little box of tricks as possible, exciting times ahead hopefully.
