Games With Gold – July
New month folks, which means more free games on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360. As always, both systems get two games each, but thanks to Backwards Compatibility, the games for the 360 can also be downloaded and played on the One.
We'll start with the games for the Xbox One. First up is Banner Saga, this will be available from the 1st to the 31st of the month. Banner Saga is a Viking-themed tactical role playing game that was developed by Stoic Studios, published by Versus Evil and was released back in January 2014. This was pretty well received when it came out, so if role playing games are your thing, you might want to check it out.

Next up on the Xbox One is Tumblestone which has been developed and published by The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild. It has been developed and published by The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild and was only released this year. It has being described as a puzzle action game and by all accounts its well worth a look if you fancy a challenge. Tumblestone will be available to download from the 16th of July to the 15 of August.

First up on the 360 this month we have Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, which was developed and published by Ubisoft and released back in 2008. A decent tactical FPS that builds on the original, there is some good, tense shoot outs to had in Vegas 2, it would be interesting to see how it holds up after all these years, it has a an 82% rating on Metacritic. Vegas 2 is available from the 1st to the 15th of July.

Last up for the month we have Tron: Evolution, which was developed by Propaganda Games and published by Disney back in 2010. This is a third person action game, with bits of racing and role playing thrown into the mix too. Tron also features a good mix of multiplayer modes for up to ten people, the light cycles are used for racing and combat and you also have deathmatches with the light discs. This was released as a tie in to the movie Tron: Legacy and is available from the 16th to the 31st of the month.
