Four New Xbox One S Bundles Now Available
While Microsoft's brand new 4K console the Xbox One X is creeping ever closer to its November 7th release date, you might be forgiven for thinking that the big M will focus all their energy into it and forget all about its big brother the Xbox One S.
Thankfully this is not the case, and with good reason too, you see, no matter how successful the X turns out to be this Christmas, I simply can't see it out selling the S. While it offers a major power boost over its big brother, the S will be far cheaper and for those that have yet to invest in Xbox this generation, the S might just be the perfect fit.
Of course, Microsoft are not stupid and to help entice non Xbox players into the fold, the Redmond giant has announced four brand new Xbox One S bundles to encourage those folks to go Xbox this Christmas. So without further delay, let's take a look at the four new bundles on offer.
First up is the Xbox One S Starter Bundle, (€279EUR / $279 / £229), this is the only bundle out of the four not to contain any games but instead it comes with a three month subscription to Xbox Game Pass. Game Pass gives you access to over 100 titles, these games are downloaded onto your system and can be played whenever you want and for as long as you want. The 100 odd titles are a mixture of both 360 and Xbox One games.
Next up is the Rocket League Bundle, this bundle is only available in the UK and a few select European countries I'm afraid (€279EUR / £229). It pretty much does what it says on the tin, this bundle comes with a full download code for the brilliant football with cars Rocket League.
Then we have the Ultimate Halo Bundle ($279). This bundle is only on sale in the good old US of A, actually I think it might only be on sale at Walmart. It's a cracking offer though, this bundle contains Halo 5 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, that's a lot of Halo for your cash folks.
Last but certainly not least is the Xbox One S Minecraft Complete Adventure Bundle ($279 / £229 / €279EUR). Minecraft is a classic, it allows players on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mobile to share worlds together through the Better Together update that landed recently. This bundle contains Minecraft along with a download code for both the Explorer's Pack and Story Mode: Season 1.
All bundles come with a three month subscription to Xbox Live and a wireless Xbox controller and apart from the Starter Bundle, all the new bundles will contain a one month subscription to Xbox Game Pass.
So there you have it folks, if you have yet to join the Xbox family now might be a good time to start but maybe you feel different. Do you think these new bundles offer good value for money or do you think they are priced a little high. Please feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments below.
