Games With Gold – May

Its that time of the month again folks, its time for free games.  Anyone who owns an Xbox 360 is about to get served up 2 more games to enjoy, anyone who has got an Xbox One, you guys get 4 free games, 2 on the Xbox One and of course thanks to Backwards Compatibility you'll also be able to play both titles that are available on the Xbox 360.

Lets start as always with the One.  First up is Defence Grid 2, developed by Hidden Path Entertainment and published by 505 Games. This was released back in September 2014 and offers players a chance to get their teeth stuck into a very addictive tower defence game that builds on its original and is only slightly let down by poor multiplayer.  Defence Grid 2 will be available to download for the entire month of May.  Next up is Costume Quest 2, developed by Double Fine Productions and also released back in 2014.  This is an action role playing game and it was pretty well received when it came out back in 2014, getting a Metacritic score of 3.5/5.  Costume Quest 2 will be up from the 16th to the 31st of the month.

First up on the 360 we have Grid 2 by Codemasters.  Cracking racing game with lots of tracks to master and great wheel to wheel racing to enjoy.  You'll be able to get your hands on Grid 2 from the 1st to the 15th of the month.  Last but not least this month is Peggle, developed by PopCap Games and had its initial release way back in 2007.  If you like your puzzle games, then this might be right up your street. Peggle is available from the 16th to the 31st of May.

Remember folks, you still have time to pick up Aprils games if you have not already done so.  So many free games and so little time to play them.  Time to get to work.
