The Crew 2 – Open Beta Start Times And Content
The Crew 2 is set for release on the 29th of June. The game is being developed by Ivory Tower and will be published by Ubisoft.
The Crew 2 is an open-world racer which gives players access to cars, bikes, boats and planes and it looks like an absolute blast to play from what I’ve seen of it so far.
But before the game launches, Ubisoft are giving players on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation a chance to try it out for themselves via an open beta. The beta kicks off this weekend across the systems listed above and it will run for four days giving players plenty of time to experience this fast and frantic open-world racer.
The open beta start and finish times are as follows.
Starts: June 21st at 1am PT / 4am ET / 9am BST
Ends: June 24th at 1am PT / 4am ET / 9am BST
Of course, the beta represents “a work in progress” but considering how close the game is to release, I expect the beta to be pretty close in quality to the finished product.
The beta will come packed with various modes for gamers to try out. For a start, the entire game world will be free to explore in Freedrive and there will be a further eight driving modes to test your skills on land, sea and air.
Those modes include the following:
Aerobatics / Drift / Jetsprint / Motocross / Powerboat / Rally Raid / Street Racing / Touring Car
The Crew 2’s beta is open to everyone but you will require a Ubisoft account to take part. Follow the link to create your Ubisoft account. When you have your account sorted, simply search for The Crew 2 beta on your chosen system, weather it be the Xbox or PlayStation marketplace or on Steam. You can download it right now. Also, none of the progress that is made through the beta will NOT carry across to the full game when released.
Will you be taking part this weekend or is your weekend already jammed packed with games you have yet to finish. Please feel free to leave any thoughts you have on The Crew in the comments below.
