Strange Brigade – New IP Coming Soon To Xbox One

Good evening folks, it is another miserable, wet, grey day in good old Dublin. But enough my complaining already and lets get to it. Good news today, Rebellion, the dev team behind Sniper Elite and the Zombie Army games have announced a brand new IP called Strange Brigade and that it will be landing on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC sometime soon.

Strange Brigade is an action adventure game set in the 1930's, which is fine of course, but this action adventure game is set in the remote corners of the British Empire in the 1930's and it very much has a Supernatural feel to it. You see, an ancient Egyptian Witch, who is so evil and witchy, that all trace of her has been removed from Egyptian hieroglyphs, has been unleashed and she is hell bent on stopping you and your mates from completing your quest to uncover new civilizations and treasure around the old British Empire.

That's correct folks, I said you and your mates. Strange Brigade will allow up to four players to go adventuring together, no word on competitive multiplayer but thankfully Rebellion's latest has been designed from the ground up with co op in mind, which is just brilliant in my book. As you progress though this strange supernatural world there will be plenty of puzzles for you to solve, you and your team of adventures will also have to avoid traps and deal with monsters, mummies and more of the undead to survive and finish your quest.

Rebellion latest could be a real treat, it sounds like fun and if they nail the mechanics they might just have a winner on their hands. Check out the video below to get a feel for what Rebellion's latest is all about and stay tuned for more news on Strange Brigade at E3.
